You can adjust how sign-in works on the self-service kiosk under Settings → Self-service sign-in flow.
Extra views and features
- Group sign-in — lets multiple visitors sign in at the same time.
- Summary view — shows the visitor a summary screen during sign-in.
- Terms of visit — asks the visitor to accept the terms of visit when signing in.
Host search
When an unregistered visitor searches for their host by name, you can set how many characters they need to type before name suggestions appear.
Additional information after sign-in
Two text fields shown on the kiosk screen at the end of sign-in:
- Custom instructions — shown at the end of sign-in. When filled in, this replaces the default video guide and the prompt to wait for the host in the lobby.
- General information — always shown to visitors at the end, for example guest wifi details.
What happens when the host is unknown
If an unregistered visitor doesn't know or remember their host, you can choose what happens:
- The arrival is passed on to the assistant.
- Sign-in is blocked and the visitor sees a message you write.
- A video call is started, with an optional message shown as well.
That's it — you decide what sign-in looks like from the visitor's side.
