Visitor card can not be printed from RespaManager

If you're trying to print a visitor badge from RespaManager but nothing happens after checking the guest in—other than a confirmation message stating the print was successful—go through the following steps:



1. Check Browser Pop-up Settings

Depending on your browser, blocked pop-ups are indicated in different ways. Usually, there is an icon either at the left or right end of the address bar. Some browsers may directly ask, “Allow pop-ups for this site?” You can also adjust these settings via the browser menu.


Here’s how to do it in three popular browsers:


Mozilla Firefox:

  • Click the three lines (☰) in the top-right corner → Settings → Privacy & Security → Allow pop-ups.



  • Google Chrome:
    • Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner → Settings → Privacy and security → Scroll down to "Site Settings" → Pop-ups and redirects.




  • Microsoft Edge:
    • Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner → Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Pop-ups and redirects.




2. Ensure Printer and Computer Connection

USB Connection:
Make sure the USB cable is securely connected to both the computer and the printer. Try a different USB port if needed.

Network Connection:
Ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer. Also, verify the network settings are correctly configured.


3. Check the Printer Status

Power:
Ensure the printer is turned on and has power.

Standby Mode or Errors:
Make sure the printer is not in sleep mode and is not displaying any error messages.


4. Check the Print Queue

If printing does not start, check your computer’s print queue:

  • Windows: Open “Devices and Printers,” select your printer, and see if there are any pending jobs.
  • Mac: Open “Printers & Scanners,” select your printer, and check the print queue.

Clear any pending print jobs and try printing again.


5. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

Outdated or missing drivers can cause printing issues.

  • Download Latest Drivers: Go to Brother’s official support site and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Install Drivers: Follow the installation instructions provided with the driver package.

6. Check Visitor Badge Roll Installation

Incorrectly installed badge rolls can prevent printing.

  • Installation: Open the printer cover and make sure the label roll is properly placed and correctly loaded. If necessary, replace the roll with a new one. Replacing printer visitor cards
